This year’s fall Cheviot Harvest Festival is held in Cheviot Hills Park/Rancho Park Golf Course. This festival is very traditional. Each year, it attracts countless visitors. You can feast on some festive delicacies; see traditional crafts, carve a pumpkin with the little ones and much more.But the main highlight of the festival is the Pumpkin Run, which will be held on October 24, 2015. It’ll be a 5k run around Cheviot Park which starts at 8am. Purchasing of tickets to participate in the run will get you a free pumpkin that you can redeem from October 23 to 25, 2015.
By participating in the Harvest Festival, you’ll be treated to some of Cheviot Hills most magnificent colors. You can enjoy the glorious scenery around the Rancho Park.Cheviot Harvest Festival offers tons of activities. Your kids can enjoy having glitter pumpkin tattoos, riding in a tractor and train, exploring spooky bounce houses, etc. Face painting and hay maze are also provided to make sure that you and your family will have full enjoyment during the festival.
For artists, pumpkin carving is also available. And for those who love to compete, Cheviot Harvest Festival features pumpkin racing.Cheviot Hills Harvest Festival is truly a very kid friendly event with so many games and features designed for the enjoyment of the little ones.The general admission to this event will include fun activities for your entire family and seasonal food tasting, among others. So, mark your calendars on October 23 to 25, 2015 for the annual Cheviot Hill Harvest Festival.
